It was set up in 2005 in Mombasa, Kenya, with a view to add value at source and became the first Tea Packing Company in Africa to pack Private Label Tea for a major Supermarket Chains in Europe. About The Group Global Tea & Commodities Ltd was established in London in 1992 with 2 employees. The Company grew rapidly and is today among the largest fully integrated Tea Companies in the world. The Group currently employs over 10,400 people and has operations in the United Kingdom, Kenya, Malawi and India. The Group currently handles over 75,000 Metric Tons of Tea, Fruit & Herbal Infusions, Coffee and Macadamia annually. As a Group, we trade over 10% of Africa's Tea production. |
